Developing young people skills and creating bridges between cultures and countries is important in order to build a strong community in Europe. Therefore, SPSCH Pardubice was happy to host a group of students and a couple of teachers from IES Javier García Téllez school (Cáceres, Spain) at the end of April 2024.
They came whinin Erasmus+ School mobility programme.
Who participated?
- IES Javier García Téllez: 9 students + 2 math teachers
- Střední Průmyslová Škola Chemická Pardubice : 5 students + 3 teachers
In the programme of 5 days we have included:
- getting to know our school, each other activities, including picnic at Park Na Špici, common cultural dinners in the Špindlerův Mlýn;
- chemistry show;
- presentation and active trying out EdTechLab Pardubice tools – VR/ AR/ MR glasses;
- visit and a workshop from our great partners – SFÉRA Pardubice;
- visit and interactive workshop at archeological site of Země Keltů;
- visit and educational discussion at Information Center of Špindlerův Mlýn at the Krkonoše mountain park;
- hiking in Krkonoše mountain;
- visiting Prague.
Students were developing their skills, such as:
- Green
- Digital
- Intercultural communication
- Teamwork
- Organisational
- English language and more
During this week obviously SPSCH Pardubice students and teachers were part of Internationalisation at Home concept implementation. You can have global elements in your education without moving far.
